The place : Located on the coasts of the Morbihan region, in the centre of South Brittany, the thalassotherapy centre of Louison Bobet is settled on the edge of the Gulf of Morbihan, and faces the bay of Quiberon and Belle-Ile-en-Mer Island, 35km away from Vannes.

Louison Bobet was a famous French cycler who decided to build his own thalassotherapy institute after he discovered the amazing benefits of seawater treatments. He had experienced such a treatment himself since he had a serious cycle accident. He managed to convince his doctors not to amputate his leg and finally healed thanks to thalassotherapy. The Miramar hotel is nicknamed « The Liner of Health ». Restaurants : Two restaurants, “La Salle a Manger” and “Le Ruban Bleu”, both endowed with wide plate glass windows in front of the sea, offer a clear and restful sight.

The Louison Bobet restaurant “The Dining Room” proposes less fat and less salted but very tasty meals. Its creed: the right food choices can only be made in the duration only by taste and not by reason! Low-fat meals are prepared there as healing as well as a preventive treatment.

Restaurant "Le Ruban Bleu"
Le Ruban Bleu” or “The Blue Ribbon” is a restaurant dedicated to the pleasures of dietetics.

The Chef Yves Toublanc prepares in collaboration with dieticians menus going from 800 to 1200 calories, exclusively made of fresh and healthy products. Note that dieticians are present in the restaurant at lunch and dinner time to assess the satisfaction of customers and answer to all their questions. This is an original feature that you will surely appreciate.

Every customer who has chosen dietary cuisine will benefit from a personalized follow-up by one of the dieticians, with a control of your fat through a special report. This personalized report is then given back to you at the end of your stay and a follow-up is possible after your programme.

Note that this restaurant offers a large choice of herbal teas and waters.
